George Langevin's very busy day on Mary Street

George Clifford Langevin, 18, of no fixed address, was charged twice yesterday in separate incidents that occurred 12 hours apart.

Police accuse Langevin of using a big stone to smash a window out of a bus shelter on Mary Street around 8:12 a.m.

Damage in that incident was estimated at $500.

Then, at 8:09 p.m., Langevin was arrested again.

This time, police were responding to a report from Mary St. Park, where a man had reportedly passed out.

"When officers checked Langevin he was found to be in possession of what is believed to eight grams of cannabis resin and 11 grams marijuana," City Police said in a statement this morning.

"At the time of his arrests, Mr. Langevin was on a probation order to keep the peace and be of good behavior.

"He faces one charge of mischief, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and four counts of breach of probation."

Mr. Day goes back to the Bay

City Police also report picking up 20-year-old Robert Lee Day of Railroad Avenue around 10:30 a.m. yesterday.

Day was arrested on outstanding warrants from North Bay Police Service.

The warrants included seven counts of break and enter.

Day will be escorted back to North Bay for a court appearance.
