Philip Garforth, who once accused local online journalists of stalking him by tapping his mobile phone, now has some real-life pursuers.

Garforth's Legacy Quest Developments Inc., the firm behind the Ontario Sault's cadaver-cold Gateway waterfront project, is being sued by Community First Credit Union Ltd.

The Sault Star is quoting unproven allegations in a lawsuit filed with the Superior Court of Justice, that claim the developer has not made payments on a $100,000 line of credit for almost one year. Community First extended credit to Garforth at prime plus zero percent.

In a separate development, Sault lawyer Bob Paciocco has been awarded a $99,000 judgment against Garforth for legal work done from 2005 to 2007.

Garforth is now pursuing his visions of splendiferous grandiosity in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
