Garden River election results

The latest successor to Garden River's famous Chief Shingwauk (shown) is expected to be announced, well, sometime.

Votes from Tuesday's band election were being tallied on Wednesday.

Results were expected sometime tonight, but as of 9 p.m. no one appears to be answering the phone at the community centre.
