******************** This is Brandi Nolan from Garden River (which is close enough to the Soo, right?).

I went to St. Hubert's Elementary School and then moved on to the "The Mount" in 89.

I moved from home for the first time in 94 to go to school at Carleton University. That lasted for one year until I visited home for the summer and never returned.

Kewadin Casino and the Anishinabek Police Service kept me employed for the next couple of years. I moved to St. Catharines in '98 to give school a second chance. I graduated from Electrical Engineering at Niagara College in 2001 (with honorable mentions of course, a lot different from high school).

I began working at Casino Niagara as a part-time dealer while attending school. After graduation, I began working full time at the casino. Then along came Seneca Niagara Casino in 2002, and here I am today.

I am currently living in Niagara Falls, Ontario but working in Niagara Falls, New York at the Seneca Niagara Casino as a pit manager. I am still doing the "Brandi Thing". Interpretation; still single, no children, never been married and enjoying anything and everything I want. Unfortunately the casino is a 24-7, 365 days a year business and holidays are REALLY hard to get off soooooo..... I will be home for Christmas but we will be celebrating it a couple of days early this year.

My family is awesome for putting up with my schedule. I want to say "Hello to all of those crazy Mounties" that put up with me (for some, I put up with you!!!) for all of those years, they were definitely interesting and we had a whole lot of laughs, too many to count. Although there is no snow here, I look forward to seeing it back home.

Snow angels, snowmen, snowball fights, snowmobiles and snowflakes, I will definitely be observing from inside!!!!!!!! Too cold for me!!!!! I look forward to seeing my parents, Terry and Marie, my Sista's Ange and Deb and of course my SIX nieces and nephews: Sierra, Tyra and Stu Jr. (Ange) and Sydney, Zackery and Alexandra (Deb). I will be home on the 22nd doing some major Christmas shopping so "outta my way!!!!" I still have a lot of gifts to buy!!!!!!

I love coming home and seeing all of the Christmas spirit and friendliness that a small town has to give.

I miss the holding doors for each other, saying hello to "someone you think you now" and wishing EVERYONE a Merry Christmas even if you know them or not. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all in Garden River and the Soo. Brandi Nolan [email protected] PS: If any of my girls see this "We are Fam-i-ly, Bandi, Leila Steph-a-nie". An oldie but a goodie.
