We keep hearing stories about the legal department at The Walt Disney Company.

How they have a small army of the world's sharpest intellectual property lawyers, all fiercely dedicated to protecting their registered brands and trademarks.

How they even went after a Florida nursery whose staff dared to paint pictures of Mickey and Donald on the walls to entertain the kiddies.

We're hoping the Bad Mickey lawyers will turn a blind eye when we tell you that Bill and Christine Ayotte have a cat named Winnie the Pooh.

When SooToday.com recently asked our readers to send us images of their kitties, the Ayottes were nice enough to send us this picture, as well as another of their way-too-cute pup Lucky.

If you're a Disney lawyer, yes, we know that Winnie the Pooh is a registered trademark and that you own it.

But we're nonetheless suggesting that you probably don't want to mess with the Ayottes and their Winnie.

After all, Winnie's a cat.

And you're just the House of Mouse.
