Confidential speaking notes for Sharon Cohen

This is a challenging time for all of us at SSB. These are big decisions that are being made. But it is time for us to move forward as an organization and finally have the opportunity to complete the journey we started back in December of 1998.

This is a challenging time for all of us at SSB.

These are big decisions that are being made.

But it is time for us to move forward as an organization and finally have the opportunity to complete the journey we started back in December of 1998.

This is our opportunity to become the organization we have always wanted to be and we were always intended to be - a modern, efficient and customer focussed business services provider to the OPS.

When the dust from this settles I believe the results will speak for themselves.

But for now. we must concentrate on supporting one another as we take these challenging next steps.

Now, I am going to turn you back to your local presenters.

Senior Managers from across the organization have been briefed about the Office Consolidation Strategy and they are there with you now to walk you through the decision and help you understand what the next steps will be.

Please give them your attention and feel free to ask questions.

We all have a lot to do in the next month and we need to keep communicating with one another.

Ask questions. Stay involved.

Use the avenues open to you to learn all you can.

The more connected we remain, the more we will all benefit in the long run.

Take care - and take care of each other.

Thank you again for making the effort to be here today.
