Planned power outages for Algoma Power

Algoma Power is reporting that power will be out in several areas north of Sault Ste. Marie for line maintenance.

Power will be out in the Bluewater Bay and Nils Bay Roads area of Goulais River tomorrow, Thursday, November 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The power outage is necessary to replace a pole damaged by a recent storm.

No alternative dates are available.

An outage is also planned for the area from Northland Lake to the Main Road in Searchmont for next Wednesday, November 9, Thursday, November 10 and the following Tuesday, November 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This outage is planned to allow time for line clearing.

No alternate dates are available.

An outage in Barr River is also planned for next week, Thursday, November 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Power will be off in the area of McCarrel Lake Road and Cloudy Lake Road to allow for a pole replacement.

An alternate date of Friday, November 11, was given for that outage.
