Batchewana and Garden River are among 133 Ontario First Nations expected to see a major financial windfall from an Ontario Court of Appeal ruling on Friday that the Chippewas of Mnjikaning must share a 35 percent share of profits from Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation's Casino Rama.

The Sunday edition of the Toronto Star reports that First Nations are expecting millions of dollars for roads, education, economic development and other needs.

Gross revenues at Casino Rama have totalled more than $5 billion since it opened.
