Mark Torchia wins a NOBA

Mark Torchia, president of the Torchia Group of Timmins, won the Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the 2009 Northern Ontario Business Awards. The ward was sponsored by KIA Motors Canada.

“In '93 when we opened up our first Wendy's, that's all I thought. I'd open up a restaurant and life would be good. I never dreamed that 16 years later, I'd own 12 Wendy's and three Boston Pizzas.”
