************************ Congratulations to Soo Foundry & Machine Limited.

Originally founded as Northern Foundry and machine in the early 1900’s, Soo Foundry today operates machining, fabricating and hydraulics facilities.

It also has two wholly-owed subsidiaries operating out of its current location on Drive Inn Road, Traders Steel Warehouse and Northern Fluid Power.

Soo Foundry is run by a very dedicated and talented group of managers and employees.

The company is well diversified and has done jobs from British Columbia to Newfoundland, along with a small amount of export work.

It's customer base includes Steel, Hydro-Electric, Mining, Paper, and other Manufacturing Industries.

With its long local history, the business has seen the community move thorough several economic cycles, both positive and negative, but has consistently risen to meet the challenges that the economy has thrown its way.

The company and its employees share a strong commitment to the community, supporting several charities, cultural organizations and educational partners, including: Soo Thunderbirds Hockey; the Sault Area Hospital, Many drivers Laird Raceways, Youth Hockey and Soccer sponsorships, and the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre among others.
