Home invasion suspect picked up in Barrie

CITY POLICE NEWS RELEASES ************************ Eighteen-year-old Michael Brian Leclair was arrested by the Barrie Police Service on outstanding warrants related to a home invasion on April 22 at a home in the 200 block of North Street.

************************ Eighteen-year-old Michael Brian Leclair was arrested by the Barrie Police Service on outstanding warrants related to a home invasion on April 22 at a home in the 200 block of North Street.

Leclair has been charged with break, enter and commit as well as aggravated assault.

The investigation is continuing.

************************ Thefts

- A 2001 Kawasaki dirt bike was reported stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Black Road.

- Vehicles were reported entered on Old Garden River Road, Tuckett Street and also on Montgomery Avenue. Items reported taken were iPods, wallets and loose change.
