Crime scene video from Chapple Avenue murder

Sault Ste. Marie Police Service forensic investigators are currently at 101 Chapple Avenue, believed to be the scene of the early-morning murder of a man in his fifties. The presumed crime scene is across the street from Rosedale Public School.

Sault Ste. Marie Police Service forensic investigators are currently at 101 Chapple Avenue, believed to be the scene of the early-morning murder of a man in his fifties.

The presumed crime scene is across the street from Rosedale Public School.

101 Chapple is a townhouse owned by Sault Ste. Marie Housing Corporation.

The man's body, showing obvious signs of trauma, was discovered shortly after 2 a.m.

A 20-year-old man was arrested around 2:30 a.m. at the Greyhound Bus Terminal on Brock Street.
