City Police have asked SooToday.com to announce that the pool is closed until further notice.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police service is investigating a sudden death this afternoon at the John Rhodes Community Centre.
The death is believed to have occurred in the pool area of the facility.
Police were called there around 3:20 p.m.
Initial reports indicate that the deceased was an eight-year-old boy.
