SooToday.com has received the following statement from Grace Tridico, a trustee with the Huron Superior Catholic District School Board, who earlier this week was found guilty of committing a corrupt election practice.

My attorney, Augusto P. Palumbi, has reviewed with me the decision of the justice of the peace.
He has advised me that in his view, there are some errors in law with respect to this decision.
He has advised me to give serious consideration to the filing of an appeal.
After having considered his advice, I have provided instruction to him to file an appeal.
I remain committed to fulfilling my obligations as an elected trustee.
