Frost warning issued for points north

Environment Canada has issued frost a warning for Gogama - Foleyet - Chapleau - Missinaibi Lake. Similar warnings have also been issued for the regions of Kirkland Lake - New Liskeard - Temagami - Timmins - Cochrane - Kapuskasing - Hearst.

This is a warning that at or near zero ground temperatures will cause frost in the parts of these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.

Conditions will be favourable for frost formation as a ridge of high pressure settles over Northeastern Ontario tonight.

Although considerable cloud cover still prevails in a few regions today..Some clearing is expected tonight allowing the mercury to dip to near the freezing mark.

Tender plants should be protected or brought indoors if possible.
