***************************** Forest fire situation update - East Fire Region

There were two fires reported in the East Fire Region this week. 

Algonquin Park 9 and North Bay 31 were both 0.1 hectares in size and have both been called out.

The fire hazard for the East Fire Region is low.

With hunting season upon us, hunters and campers are reminded to be FireSmart.

With cooler evenings and mornings, people are lighting campfires for warmth and cooking. 

Once you are ready to leave the site, please ensure to properly extinguish your campfire.
