Freezing rain warning in effect for:

Sault Ste. Marie - St. Joseph Island

Ice build-up due to freezing rain is expected or occurring.

Freezing rain will continue this evening.

The freezing rain will change to rain Saturday morning as temperatures rise above the freezing mark.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots will become icy, slippery and hazardous. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays. Ice build-up may cause tree branches to break. Utility outages may occur.
