Environment Canada has issued the following special weather statement issued for Elliot Lake - Ranger Lake - Wawa - White River - Pukaskwa - Chapleau - Gogama - Kapuskasing - Hearst - Timmins - Cochrane - Greater Sudbury and vicinity - Kirkland Lake - New Liskeard - Temagami - North Bay - West Nipissing.

Abundant low level moisture combined with below zero temperatures have created conditions favourable for freezing drizzle.

Freezing drizzle has been reported early this morning from many locales in the above mentioned regions.

Freezing drizzle will make untreated road surfaces and sidewalks potentially icy and thus hazardous.

Extra caution is advised.

Freezing drizzle is expected to end sometime this morning.
