Eaglesmith's current tour highlights his 19th studio album, 6 Volts, which was released in January of this year.
Of the stripped-down lo-fi recording, Kerry Doole of Exclaim! Magazine wrote: "The old school sonic approach perfectly matches the rugged authenticity of Eaglesmith's voice and sparse, poetic narratives... Yes, there are more songs about murder and truckers, but Eaglesmith always breathes new life into old themes. There's nothing underpowered about these 6 Volts."
"If you’re planning a trip to the country - or a night in with a bottle of Jack - 6 Volts is essential company," wrote Lara Zarium of The Grid.
