Fred Bell: 1947-2010

SooToday.com received the following announcement today from the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre regarding OPP Detective Constable Fred Bell.

**************************** BELL, Frederick Gordon (Fred) -  Fred went to be with Jesus surrounded by his family at the SAH General Site on Monday, December 27, 2010 at the age of 63. 

Precious "Pet" to his "Babe" Elizabeth for 29 years. 

Loving and Proud father of Tyler (Jennifer), Amanda (Adam), Alyson, Tanya (Darrell). 

Devoted Grandpa of Carter, Grace, Brooke, Paige, Connor, Kassidy, Mackenzie. 

Dear brother of Bill Bell (Irene). 

Beloved son of Pearl (Darling) and the late Gordon Bell. 

Special son to Ken Darling. 

Cherished uncle of many.

Fred was a devoted member of the community due to his honorable 30-year service with the OPP and as a provincial detective constable Sault Ste Marie detachment. 

Special thanks to Dr. Brooks, Dr. Reich and Dr. Mills.

Also many thanks to all the caring nurses from ER, 6A, 2Y and the float pool nurses for their compassionate care.

Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Monday, January 3, 2011 from 6 - 9 p.m.

Funeral service to be celebrated in the chapel on Tuesday January 4, 2011 at 11 a.m. 

Rev. Benny Kjiersdam officiating. 

Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
