************************* Male arrested for impaired driving

Forty-five-year-old Frank Cripps of 143 Letcher Street was arrested on the 9th of July at 12:53 a.m. on Letcher Street and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of consuming over the legal limit.

It is alleged that around 12:51 a.m., City Police observed a Chevy Cavaliere travelling westbound on Wallace Terrace that was swerving in and out of its lane and crossing the centre line.

Officers stopped the vehicle on Letcher Street and found the driver, the accused, to be under the influence of alcohol.

He is to appear in court on the 10th of August.
