Francis Richard Noel charged with impaired

OPP NEWS RELEASE

************************* WAWA, ON - On May 29, 2010, at 10:46 p.m., Superior East OPP at Wawa received a report from Ministry of Natural Resources conservation officers at Parc Industriel Road, Huotari Township northeast of Dubreuilville, advising of a possible impaired driver.

The MNR officers had noted a male driving erratically and when stopped a smell of an alcoholic beverage was noted and he showed signs of impairment.

Superior East OPP members attended the scene and the subject was subsequently arrested and escorted to Dubreuilville OPP office for breath tests.

Francis Richard Noel, age 24 of Chilliwack, BC stands charged with the following criminal code offences:

- Impaired operation of a motor vehicle

- Exceed 80 milligrams blood alcohol content.

He will appear in Wawa criminal court on November 15, 2010, to answer to the charges.
