Four people are dead after a twin-engine aircraft crashed onto the I-75 in St. Ignace last night. A 13-year-old boy survived after the plane, a Beachcraft Model 58, ran into trouble shortly after taking from Mackinac County Airport around 5 p.m.

A 13-year-old boy survived after the plane, a Beachcraft Model 58, ran into trouble shortly after taking from Mackinac County Airport around 5 p.m., TV 6 is reporting.

9&10 News is reporting the identities of the deceased as 73-year-old Moshe Menora of Skokie, Illinois, together with his three granddaughters, Rikki Menora (16), Rachel Menora (14), and Sara Klein (17), all from Israel.

A 13-year-old grandson, Yossi Menora, survived after being thrown from the plane.

He's being treated for burns in an Ann Arbor hospital.

The crash is being investigated by federal aviation authorities.
