Doris Anne Ray and Karen Singleton advise us that they've arranged a similar exhibit and sale at the Station Mall from November 15 to December 31 inclusive. It will be called the Artist's Alcove and will be located between Laura Secord and Smart Set, directly across from the food court. Both ladies are acrylic artists. Doris works on canvas and hardboard, while Karen works on stone collected from Lake Superior.

SooToday.com has also received the following notice from the Arts Council of Sault Ste. Marie & District regarding its annual Christmas Market at Wellington Square Mall.

The Christmas Market will offer the individual the opportunity to buy one-of-a-kind items, and items that are made right here in Sault Ste. Marie & District.

There will be a variety of creations made by the artists.

These pieces include, but not limited to:

- Original paintings - Post cards and greeting cards - First Nations artwork - Jewellery - Wood works - Crafts - Textiles - Photographs

The Christmas Market is one of the Arts Council of Sault Ste. Marie & District’s biggest fundraisers of the year.

We look forward to seeing you there!
