We are delighted to announce an important fundraiser event with Canadian musician icon Ian Tamblyn on Apr. 6 at Algoma Water Tower Inn. Proceeds will go to the Algoma Passenger Train.

The event is sponsored by:

  • Missanabie Cree First Nation
  • Coalition for Algoma Passenger Trains
  • Northern and Eastern Ontario Rail Network
  • Black Fly Jam

The Algoma Water Tower Inn is generously providing the Pavilion as the venue. The Algoma Water Tower Inn is also providing a room discount that will be very attractive to people from out of town.

The ticket price is $25 ($20 for seniors and students). Tickets will be printed soon.

The event will include a silent auction.
We are so honoured that Ian Tamblyn, such a renowned musician, will be performing in support of the train. Here is a very short description of him:

“A singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with an extensive discography and over 1500 songs to his credit, Ian Tamblyn is an essential figure in the Canadian musical tapestry. Now into the fifth decade of his career, he remains a vibrant and productive artist. Many of his songs have been recorded by others, and he has garnered numerous awards and recognition.” website:
