Flood Advisory

With the recent mild temperatures the water levels are beginning to rise.

Heavy rain is expected on Friday and Saturday with the possibility of thunderstorms.

Significant amounts of precipitation may resume causing the local water levels to rise quickly.

The Conservation Authority extends a warning to area residents and visitors when in the vicinity of waterways.

All are advised to use extreme caution around creeks and rivers as potential high flows and velocities can be very dangerous.

Thank you for your assistance in conveying this safety message.
