$1,000,000.00 prize pending mandatory 30-day withholding

TORONTO - Congratulations to a Group of 5 who won $1,000,000 from the Lotto Max draw on July 23, 2010.

The group members are:

- Kathleen Imhoff of Everett - David Gilmore of Alliston - Frank Nurse of Alliston - Jill Burnie of Alliston - Elizabeth Wiliamson of Angus

"We were very happy!" Imhoff told OLG Prize Centre staff.

The group of five co-workers that have been playing as a group for approximately one year won the $1,000,000 Max Million prize from playing a quick pick ticket.

As Bernie's daughter works at an OLG retail location, this prize falls within OLG's definition of an Insider Win.

Major prize claims by Insiders are subject to an independent investigation.

This investigation has been completed and the prize claim has been approved for payment.

The payment of prizes to Insiders is held for 30 days to allow anyone with concerns regarding the prize to come forward.

The prize claim is publicly announced through this news release which is also posted on OLG.ca.

Anyone having a concern regarding a prize claim may contact OLG at 1-800-387-0098, seven days a week, from 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.

The ticket was purchased at Everett Variety located on Main Street East in Everett.

This prize will be paid to the claimant on September 27, 2010 based on the 30-day wait period.
