On the 29th of September at 2:38 p.m, officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 21-year-old Jordan Cimino-Williamson of #1-428 Wellington Street East on Andrew Street and charged him with one count of theft under $5,000.

It is alleged that on the 29th of September at approximately 2:30 p.m., the accused attended at Zellers in the Station Mall and stole five chocolate bars.

He was apprehended by store security and held for police.

He is to appear in court on the 1st of November.

************************ Thefts

- A red-and-silver 21-speed mountain bike was reported stolen from Barber Boulevard.

- A licence plate was stolen off a vehicle on North Street.

************************ Mischief

- An election sign on Wallace Terrace was damaged.

- The back window of a vehicle on Pine Street was smashed out.

- A privacy fence was damaged on Balfour Street.

- A truck on McFadden Avenue was keyed.
