Firearms stolen in break and enter

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance to help solve a Break and Enter in the city’s West End.  

On the 19th of August a Break and Enter was reported to a residence in the 1100 Block of Town Line. 

Unknown suspects entered the residence sometime between the 18th of July and the 18th of August through the front door. 

A large amount of jewellery was reported stolen as well as three firearms.  The firearms are described as; a 20 Gauge Mossberg shotgun, a 410 Cooey Shotgun and a 12 Gauge Pump action Ithaca Shotgun. 

Any member of the public with information about this Break and Enter or the whereabouts of the stolen firearms is encouraged to contact the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service or Crimestoppers.
