NEWS RELEASES
************************* Break and enters
- A residence in the 200 block of John Street was entered sometime over the weekend. Several items were reported stolen, including guns and a telephone.
- A residence in the 200 block of Fifth Avenue was entered on the 25th of July. Money and cigarettes were reported stolen.
- A contracting office in the 1000 block of Great Northern Road was entered sometime overnight on the 25/ 26th of July. At this time, it is not known if anything was stolen. - A residence on Macdonald Avenue was entered sometime around the 25th of July. A laptop was reported stolen.
- A residence in the 200 block of James Street was entered over the weekend. At this time it is not known what was taken.
- An attempted break and enter was reported to a garage in the 300 block of East Balfour on the 26th of July.
************************* Thefts
Vehicles were entered in the areas of Paladin Avenue, Alworth Place and Megginson Avenue. Money, a Tom Tom GPS, CDs and an iPod Touch were reported stolen.
************************* Mischief reports
- A chunk of asphalt was thrown through a window of Millie’s Mini Mart on Goulais Avenue.
- Windows of two bus shelters on Wellington Street West were smashed.
