Festival of Trees celebrates 20 years (16 photos)

All proceeds support the Lung Association

Already in the Christmas spirit and looking for that perfect gift, Saultites flocked to The Machine Shop Thursday evening for the beginning of the Lung Association Festival of Trees 20th anniversary.

The event continues from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The festival includes trees and wreaths, impressively decorated by local businesses, and a wide variety of items up for raffle and silent auction, including food and beverages, clothing, furniture arrangements, arts and crafts, beauty products and hockey merchandise for Soo Greyhounds, Leafs and Habs fans.

Hosted by the Lung Association of Algoma, all proceeds go to lung research.
