************************* Attention sk8ers!

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON - The recreation and culture division of the City of Sault Ste. Marie is excited to announce that the Community Skatepark located at the Queen Elizabeth Sports Complex is now open!

The official opening of the skatepark will be held on Saturday, June 27 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Activities begin at noon and will include a barbecue as well as skateboard demonstrations. The skatepark is intended for skateboarders and in-line skaters only.

In order to prevent damage to the facility, BMX bikes, bicycles, scooters, and motorized vehicles are not permitted to use the skatepark.

Come on down and “catch some air” at the Community Skatepark!
