Female charged in Hallam homicide investigation

***************************** Wesley Hallam homicide investigation update - Female charged with accessory after the fact to murder and indecently interfere with dead human body

On the 21st of April 2011, investigators with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested Melissa Dawn Elkin, 27 years old, of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

She has been charged with one count of accessory after the fact to the murder of Wesley Hallam and one count of indecently interfere with dead human body. 

The accused will be appearing in bail court on Tuesday the 26th of April, 2011.

Due to the fact that this case is still under investigation and currently before the courts, police are unable to discuss any further details in relation to the charges or investigation at this time.
