Excrement toss leads to charges

On February 10, 2016 City Police attended at the Algoma Remand Center and arrested a 49-year-old male inmate for assault. 

It’s alleged that on February 8, 2016 the accused assaulted three correction officers by throwing excrement at them. 

The accused has been charged with three counts of assaulting a peace officer. 

He will be appearing in Bail Court on February 11, 2016.
