MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

************************* A Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) project to resurface 7.2 miles of M-129 from M-80 to 10 Mile Road and replace the M-129 Charlotte River bridge in Chippewa County is nearly complete.

The detour required during construction has now been lifted, and M-129 is once again open to through traffic.

MDOT crews are in the process of restoring signs and traffic signals to their normal configuration, work that should be complete this morning.
