************************* HORNEPAYNE – Yesterday, OPP had occasion to stop a vehicle on Becker Street in Hornepayne when they noticed the vehicle weaving as it proceeded along the street.

The vehicle was stopped and officers noted a smell of alcohol.

As a result, the female driver refused to supply a sample of her breath when demanded.

Karen Meunier, age 55 of Hornepayne will appear in Criminal Court on August 27, charged with “failing to provide breath sample.”

************************** RIDE – Several RIDE checks were conducted throughout the Superior East patrol area with 220 vehicles being checked and no infractions noted.
