************************** (Brunswick House First Nation) – The elderly victim of a January home invasion robbery at a senior's complex on the Brunswick House First Nation territory has died in Chapleau Hospital.

On Sunday, February 11, 2007, Henry McWatch, age 78, who had been stabbed during the robbery, succumbed to his injuries.

A post mortem examination was performed on Tuesday, February 13, 2007.

Donald Lawrence Neshawabin, age 47, of no fixed address was arrested in the City of Greater Sudbury on January 10, 2007 by Greater Sudbury Police Service and charged by the OPP with attempted murder, robbery and wearing a disguise with intent.

The charges have since been elevated with the victim's death.

Today, Wednesday, February 14, 2007, Neshawabin will be arraigned at the Chapleau Provincial Court on the charges of second degree murder, robbery and wearing a disguise with intent.

At the request of the Nishnawbe-Aski Police, the investigation is being conducted by members of the OPP Chapleau Detachment and North East Region Criminal Operations, under the direction of Detective Inspector Ken Leppert of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.
