Echo Bay overrun by night creatures

************************* Who is lurking in Echo Bay during the darkened hours?

ECHO BAY, ON - Sault Ste. Marie OPP have been investigating several incidents of theft and damage in the Echo Bay area over the last week.

Over the past week several victims have reported the theft of gas from their vehicles.

It appears that during the night thieves have been siphoning gas out of vehicles on Church Street in Echo Bay.

Again over the weekend thieves of a nocturnal nature attempted to get into a storage shed on the property of the Echo Bay School.

The shed doors were extensively damaged but it appears that nothing is missing out of the shed.

If you live on Church Street in Echo Bay, you may want to consider leaving an extra light on.

If you hear or see any unusual activity, do not hesitate to call the police.

If you know who is stealing from the good citizens of Echo Bay, call Crime Stoppers or the OPP.
