East St man nicked for razor-blade theft

************************* Yesterday at approximately 10:10 a.m., City Police attended at Rome’s Independent Grocers and arrested a male for theft under $ 5,000.

It is alleged that at approximately 10 a.m., the accused entered Rome’s, selected a quantity of razor blades and then left the store without making any attempt to pay for the items.

The accused was arrested outside the store by store security.

Craig Herriman, age 55, of 138 East Street is charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and will be appearing in court on August 11 at 9 a.m.
