************************* Male arrested on drug charges

Fifty-year-old Kirk Harper of #2-168 Andrew Street was arrested on the 18th of June at 1:25 p.m. in the rear parking lot of a local downtown bar and charged with one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance.

It is alleged that on the 18th of June at approximately 1:25 p.m. the accused was observed by City Police in the rear lot of the bar attempting to complete a drug transaction.

At the time of his arrest, the accused was found in possession of a small Ziploc baggy that contained marijuana.

He is to appear in court on the 28th of July.
