************************* Two persons charged with theft from Sault College book store
On the 17th of December around 2 p.m., City Police were called to the Sault College Book Store regarding two persons who had [allegedly] just stolen a book.
It is alleged that a female distracted the clerk while a male stole the book.
Both left the store without any attempt to pay for it.
They returned a short while later and attempted to return the book back for a cash refund.
As a result, both were arrested and charged with one count of theft under $5,000, one count of false pretence and one count of possession of property obtained by crime.
The two accused persons were identified as 19-year-old Dyan Roy of 1000 Pine Street and 21-year-old Theodore Bebonang of the same address.
They are to appear in court on the 26th of January, 2009.
