At 2:20 a.m. today, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 20-year-old Dustin McDonald of 332 Cheshire Road and charged him with impaired driving.
Police say that McDonald was travelling westbound on Second Line West when he went through a red light and turned southbound onto Goulais Avenue.
He pulled into a parking lot there, where he is also accused of failing to provide a breath sample.
McDonald is due back in court on January 24.
