************************* Driving while under suspension

ELLIOT LAKE, ON - January 16, 2010, while on general patrol, an officer of the East Algoma OPP stopped a vehicle, which had just turned into a gas station parking lot on Highway 108.

The officer was aware that the driver was under a 90-day administrative drivers licence suspension stemming from changes on January 15, 2010, in Thessalon.

The driver was charged.

Charged with driving while under suspension of the Highway Traffic Act is Richard Moscrop (62) of Elliot Lake.

Moscrop is scheduled to appear in court on February 17, 2010.
