************************* Fraud

Twenty-eight-year-old Jeff John Odber of 1304 Third Line West was arrested yesterday at 9:17 p.m. at his residence following an incident that occurred at the Wal-Mart Store 446 Great Northern Road on the 29th of July.

On that day, it is alleged that the accused had purchased a new Nintendo DS gaming system and then returned an old one that he had placed in the new box for a $225 refund.

He has been charged with one count of fraud and was released with a court date of the 27th of September.

************************* Forced entry

A 20-year-old female was arrested at 3:40 a.m. today subsequent to a domestic incident.

It is alleged that the accused attended at her ex-boyfriend’s residence where she forced entry.

There, the accused [allegedly] punched a 41-year-old female in the face and threatened to kill her as well as her ex-boyfriend.

Police attended and apprehended the accused but she was [allegedly] noncompliant and struggled with them.

The accused has been charged with break and enter, assault, threatening, and resisting a peace officer.

************************* Warrant

Forty-year-old Winston Delano Causley of 370 Wellington Street East was arrested on the 26th of August at 2:05 a.m. on Hamilton at Wymess Street.

A check by patrol officers revealed an outstanding warrant for several breaches.

Upon arrest, the accused was found to have in his possession a substance believed to be marijuana.

The accused was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance and released with a court date of the 27th of September.

************************* Break and enters

- A break and enter was reported to a residence in the 800 block of Peoples Road where a computer tower and monitor were taken.

- A break and enter was reported to a residence on Grosvenor Avenue. Nothing appears to have been taken.

************************* Theft from vehicles

Vehicles were reported entered in the 300 block of John Street, the 3900 block of Queen Street East, the 100 and 700 block of Bay Street, and on Lorna Drive.

The vehicle on Lorna Drive had its window smashed and a purse was stolen.

Items reported stolen from the other vehicles include weed wackers, change and cigarettes.

A vehicle in the 500 block of Morrison Avenue was "keyed."
