Dude arrested after iPod stolen at Essar Centre

************************* Male charged with thefts from Essar Centre and R.J.’s Market

Twenty-five-year-old Raymond Gregoire of 217 Beverley Street was arrested on the 12th of September at 6:32 p.m. on Queen Street East and charged with one count of break, enter and commit and one count of possession of stolen property.

It is alleged that on the 11th of September between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m., the accused attended at the Essar Centre and stole an iPod from one of the dressing rooms.

The accused then went to a local pawn shop and [allegedly] pawned the iPod.

It is further alleged that on the 12th of September just before 6 p.m., the accused entered an employee-only area in the rear of RJ’s Market and stole a Sony MP3 cellular phone.

The accused was captured on store video surveillance cameras and was later located on Queen Street East.
