************************* Forty-nine-year-old Donald Jacobs of 720 Wellington Street East was arrested on the 4th of July at 6:40 p.m. on Great Northern Road and charged with one count of resisting a peace officer, one count of intoxication in a public place and two counts of breach of a release order.

It is alleged that on the 4th of July around 6:12 p.m., City Police received a call to the rear parking lot of a local restaurant on Great Northern Road regarding a possible intoxicated male.

When officers located the male he was found lying in a grassy area of the lot passed out.

When officers woke the male up, they discovered he was intoxicated.

The accused began to struggle with the officers and he was arrested.

At the time of his arrest he was on release conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to notify his change of address.
