Drug bust at Courtney's place

************************* Yesterday at 7:50 p.m., members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service street team, emergency services unit and the canine unit executed a search warrant at 109 Birch Street, the residence of Courtney Michael Casey.

During the course of the search, officers located 81.6 grams of cannabis marijuana, 3.5 grams of cannabis resin, packaging materials, two operation digital scales and a cellular telephone.

As a result 53-year-old Courtney Michael Casey was arrested and charged with one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance and one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance for the purpose of trafficking.

He is to appear in court on the 27th of July.

The estimated street value of the drugs seized was $1,700.
