**************************** B.C. driver charged with stunt driving

WAWA - On August 24 at 1:45 p.m. Superior East OPP in Wawa were patrolling northbound on Highway 17, Peever Twp at Montreal River.

A southbound Honda Civic entered radar at 154 km/hr and was subsequently stopped.

The male driver, Soonwoong Kwon, age 22 of Burnaby, British Columbia, was issued a summons for operate motor vehicle while performing a stunt contrary to the Ontario Highway Traffic Act.

The vehicle and his driver’s licence was seized for seven days as a result.

He will appear in Wawa traffic court on October 21 to answer to the charge.
