Driver charged in rollover crash

FENWICK TWP, ON - On Friday, November 19, 2010, at 9:30 p.m., a white Ford Explorer was travelling westbound on Highway 532 when it lost control and rolled into the ditch.

There were no injuries to the three occupants in the vehicle, including a five-year-old child.

The vehicle had to be towed.

The driver left the scene prior to OPP arrival.

The driver was located by police several hours later.

Forty-two-year-old Lisa Simon of Bessie Street, Sudbury, ON, was charged with failing to remain at the scene of an accident, failing to report accident, and careless driving contrary to the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.

************************* Four cottages entered

Several items stolen

KARS TWP, ON - On Saturday, November 20, 2010, OPP responded to a break and enter complaint in the 1000 block of Four Seasons Drive in Kars Township.

While investigating it was discovered that three other surrounding cottages had been broken into.

Numerous items were stolen, including the following: a router, chainsaw, CDs and electric wrenches.

The break-ins occurred between 9 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2010, and Saturday, November 20, 2010, at 3 p.m.
