NEWS RELEASE
************************* At approximately 2:50 p.m. yesterday afternoon officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 48-year-old male and charged him with one count of theft under $5,000 and one count of breach of probation.
It is alleged that the accused, William Archer of 429 Wellington Street East Apt. 1A, attended at the Trunk Road Esso on May 3 and stole a book of Great Escape Dream draw tickets from the counter.
The ticket book was valued at $280.
The incident was captured on video.
The accused was on probation at the time of this offence.
He will be appearing in court on August 13 at 9 a.m.
